After 5 years in consulting (at EM) and an MBA degree, what Big Tech/FAANG level do you think I should aim for in non-tech roles, e.g S&O? Thanks fellow fishes!

Based in my observations this is how you can organize the companies Beat work life - Facebook - google (Seems to be a revolving door between both companies - which means they both hire the same type of people, epic wlb and lots of time to grow your skills) Most like consulting - AWS (not sure about Amazon) (Long hours, easier to get into, somewhat cut throat when compared to others on the list, former consultants do well here) Hard work but great skills developed - apple Just passing thru / fast to hire - fast to fire - Netflix (Dont cross paths with many of these people) Honorable mention - Microsoft - Salesforce

I agree with this, but you have to add Amazon to fast to hire/fire.

It's not a walk in the park to get into a faang company Apply to the ones you feel you would be a good fit for and then good luck.

What about Uber? Lyft or DoorDash?

Don't know anything about them. I'd look for a company that competes in multiple markers on order to diversify your risk

Thanks, Google1 - do you have a ballpark view of the level someone with my experience enter at? E.g. for non tech roles L6, L7?

Thank you!!
