After 7 years of this business I simplified everything. 2 jeans, 2 trousers, 4 suits (2/week on road).....alternating the suit pairs each week. Everything in navy, charcoal, and white shirts. I use accessories for any vibrancy. And gym clothes. But I love everything being easy when I'm always on the road.

I resigned this morning!
After grinding thanklessly for the past 8 months, getting burnt out, and having nothing to show for it, I’ve decided to walk away.

The company has a toxic culture; which I tolerated but upon resigning their treatment has escalated.

During this 2 week notice, I am expected to present 3 giant proposals (that I also need to produce), and force in about 2 months’ worth of tasks.

Where am I legally as an employee to say I won’t be able to complete all of their requests?

Can I be fired for constantly getting same feedback from my engagement managers that I need to pay attention to details? How do I improve on this?

I've never worked with account people who literally let nobody else on the account talk to a client unless they are present. Ridiculous.

Most of these disputes are so petty and almost every case is about making up makeshift reasons for what would otherwise be wrongful termination.

You see people being fired where the actual reason is for instance hooking up with the CEO’s young female crush, or speaking up about issues in the workplace.

Even the most innocuous detail can be turned against an employee. Eating lunch at your desk can e.g. easily be labelled as being ‘uncooperative’.

What do you do when when someone at the top of your firm says something bigoted and you don’t call them out immediately?

Let’s talk about wrongful termination. The other day I was fired in the middle of the day without any warning. My colleagues called me because they were confused on why the Talent Manager dismissed me from the chat. I didn’t know what they were referring to. So I called my PM to ask what was happening, and she said that she just got off the phone with the TM and said they were terminating my contract on the spot due to me speaking up about micromanaging. No explanation just kicked out. Advice?
