After a few years in equity research, am curious on potential non-buy side exit ops. Am more focused on growing my skill sets in strategy, corp finance, etc and am particularly interested in start-ups and high growth companies where you can really take ownership of your role - has anyone gone through a similar transition and/or have any suggestions on where to start?

Currently being offered income partner at KPMG or director at Deloitte. I prefer Deloitte but they won’t budge to partner at this point. What would you do partners? Any advice?

Advice regarding following up multiple times with lead partner about a position in his practice group? I have been in contact with the firms recruiting director as well as 4 of the firms partners. The lead partner and I were supposed to connect a few weeks back but we were never able to. My issue is that I've already essentially followed up twice. Am I overthinking it now that a few weeks have passed or

I work in an org where am not valued. I have been there for a couple of years. I bring good exp and qualification on board, but my experience in this org has smeared my self esteem and has discouraged me from putting in my all. Recently accepted a great offer from one of those startup-within-a-large-company outfits. The startup farms out the hiring stuff to the larger company. In the new hire paperwork, I noticed it said the comp was based on my being in a Tier 1 CoL city. Prior to accepting I'd mentioned to the startup I was looking to move, and they said it shouldn't be an issue. Will they adjust my comp down if I move to a Tier 2 city? Startup is fully distributed and remote.
