I did 5 IVFs: 4 (unsuccessful) in Canada and 1 (successful) in Europe. All in Canada only measured HCG once after 16 days post transfer. In Europe they were more on top of things and after the transfer I’d go every 2nd day and my meds were adjusted based on my hormone levels. I think that’s what made a difference in my case.

Thank you 😊. I felt that if I won’t try again I will regret it. But it took all my strength and support of my husband and family and also a few friends.
Mine only did two - the 14 day post ovulation check to confirm pregnancy and two days later to confirm doubling/progression. Then, I had a vaginal ultrasound at 21 days post ovulation that they only scheduled after confirming HcG doubling. This was post-IUI if thats helpful.
I don’t think there’s a standard, bc my friend’s clinic did things a bit differently.
OP- my little guy is 3.5 months old :)
