The nerves might be good. I mean, seems like it’s working, right?
I manager once told me “it’ll be over in X minutes” so even if I dread it or know it will be horrible, it will be over in 30 minutes which is less than 1.25% of my week. You can do it.
Have you tried power posing? Google Amy Cuddy Ted Talk
Check out Matt Abraham’s YouTube channel- he’s a communications professor from Stanford that provides scientifically backed tips for confident speaking. He’s very charismatic so his videos are easy to watch. I had the same fear as you for the longest time (by the way a little bit of anxiety is not bad), but using some of his methods has really helped:

Yeah I get really bad anxiety over presentations unless I know the material back to front. Talking through the material with someone helps me relax.
I’ve been doing 4 months of presenting a weekly deliverable and I deal with this too 😥 following for tips
This is normal! Take a few deep breaths before and after the meeting, remind yourself that what you’re doing is important but (unless you’re on a crazy project) isn’t saving lives. And just do the best you can. You got this!!
Xanax - low dose, one hour before presentation.
I have done 2 months of daily check in with a bunch of folks on the client site. At first I was super intimidated but now I feel relaxed to the point that the junior on my team admire me and ask me how I can be that confident.
Fake it until you make it!
Power pose, smile and joke, small talk (even if it’s excruciatingly boring)
Do it weekly
It's a common problem. I have been in consulting for 9+ years but have always had nerves before presenting to the client. What has really helped me is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Check it out.
I try practicing my presentation content by audio recording myself (voice recorder on iphone) a few times. This helps review the tone, pace and confidence of the delivery, and the total time I was taking. I adjust accordingly in subsequent versions. Worked well for me so far in calming my nerves and delivering a confident presentation within in allotted time
Care less. Honestly, it works. Care only about what you can control, ensure your stuff is high quality, then stop caring and let it flow.
