After building a broad background in HR, I’m looking for my next role to focus in on people/workforce analytics and data visualization.
I’ve learned a decent amount about it on my own, but I’d love to get more formal education or training for analytics and data visualization software.
Any recommendations for training that really dives into the technical side and best practices? Most of what I’ve found has been more like a broad overview of what people analytics is, not in-depth training.

Question: I am on an AE Hiring process. the HR said the salary range is 60k to 70k plus commissions and bonus. I told them, I am looking for 80k, considering my current salary and experience. So far I already had 3 interviews, things are doing well, only one more. Do you think usually companies can go high than the salary range, even though they told me the salary was less than I am expecting?

Hello, I’m an associate (almost at the one year mark) at a midsize firm on the EPL team. I did about 2 years of employment law as a clerk during school and know that’s what I want to go into. I’ve asked for more EPL work but keep catching PI cases. I second-chaired an employment trial but don’t see any EPL work for the foreseeable future and wasn’t getting as much EPL exposure as I wanted before the trial. Any advice on a lateral move to a bigger firm with a broader range of EPL work?

How often do you think you will be traveling in 2022 with COVID mostly behind us? In the final interview/negotiation stages with an agency focused on pharmaceutical marketing as an Account Manager. Offer states up to 30% travel (but was told 20% is more realistic). No further info given such as location of accounts I'd be working on or a baseline other AMs travel. Feels like a red flag. I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance.
I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members.

Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review.
