Our annual reviews are approaching & one of my direct reports has been with us for almost six years w/ little growth. My reco was to let him go & find a stronger, hungrier & more motivated designer at the same level. However, my boss instead wants us to promote him in hopes that will spark some motivation. I am not behind this decision & have voiced my multitude of concerns in promoting an employee who doesn't deserve it. HR is behind the decision! Thoughts on promoting an undeserving report?

I gave an interview in TCS on 2nd August, yesterday my status in the tcs ibegin portal changed to ‘Evaluated’. I called the hr but she is saying that it still needs to go through approvals. Any idea how long it takes for TCS to release the offer after the evaluation? Are there any chances of rejection post evaluation?

LTA - 75k
Telephone Reemburshment - 28k
Vehicle Maintainence - 25k
Driver - 10k
Lease of Car - 2.5L

Aprox - 3.80L to be under claim based remuneration and not actual ctc.

Request to suggest, if this 3.80L partcan be negotiated and put under actual CTC...
