Should probably try to start leading sections of the call (not the whole thing) when around 4-6 month mark as a new Senior
I have ~1 year of experience. Newly promoted S2. On medium/smaller deals I lead IS/BS trending (and relevant support). Large deals I just take notes. Would also agree that my managers also have limited roles on calls
Lol A&M seniors run the whole mgmt meeting and parts of buyer calls. Probably just depends on the firm
Never seen a senior run the whole management meeting tbh. Usually only a portion of the trending. Managers do for sure though.
After 6 months I was leading ~50% of mgmt meetings. I’m also in MM where ebitda sits 5mil - 200mil (sweet spot of 50mil)
50m of ebitda is a solid size deal.
depending on size of deal/situation managers or directors run them for generalization. seniors start to take sections when experienced
I’m an associate with 4 months experience and I will run portions of the call. I think it really depends on the firm and deal size.
Ebitda range from 500k avg - 12 mill avg. Trust me I was pretty nervous/ shocked when I found out I was in charging these deals / running management calls.
