After one unsuccessful iui cycle, my fertility doctor found an endometrial cyst of 0,2cm and called for an mri scan. The doctor also said I can go ahead with my second iui cycle. Do you have any thoughts on endometriosis and fertility? Feeling anxious and stressed.

Endometriosis may impact your fertility but it is possible to get pregnant naturally if the cyst isn’t big yet and doesn’t block your tubes.

I have cysts on both ovaries, 2-3cm, and currently in my 2nd trimester, conceived naturally. Prior to conceiving, my doctor talked to us about possible fertility issues and IUI/IVF may be our likely options, but encouraged us to continue trying naturally. We did lots of tests to check my hormones and did HSG which showed my tubes weren’t blocked. We conceived naturally that same cycle the HSG was done. Surgery/lap was a last option in my case per my doctor given my cysts weren’t as big yet and all my other tests came out good. There are risks that goes into the procedure so you and your doctor can discuss what’s right for your situation.

I know its hard but try to stay positive. Your cyst seems small so it’s still possible.

Thank you. Good to hear it worked naturally for you. Trying to stay positive.

I have endo and had cyst. I tried IUI thrice post a miscarriage and it didn't work. I removed the cyst and did a lap surgery. I got pregnant three months later naturally. I am 22 weeks now. Good luck, you can do this.

Thanks and good luck with your pregnancy!

I have terrible endometriosis (stage III/stage IV) - before my last surgery, I had a 14cm cyst on my ovary and one Fallopian tube was completely blocked with the other one partially blocked. I had a hysteroscopy/lap procedure to cold cut all the diseased tissue and I got pregnant 6 weeks later naturally.

Sure thing. Thanks for your message

Any women here with lean PCOS? I do not ovulate on my own (metformin regulated my periods but I still don’t ovulate) and am moving from three cycles of Clomid/IUI to IVF soon. No other issues have been found other than my PCOS (HSG shows tubes open). Curious about your experiences. And the reason I mentioned lean PCOS is because it seems for others with PCOS part of the fertility path is diet/exercise/weight loss but I am already very tiny.

39F, gym member seeking fitness advice

I’m a management consultant with 2 kids and in the worst shape of my life at 140lbs+ (I’m 5’2, and the weight doesn’t look good on my small stature). I have a gym membership but struggle with consistency. When I go, I just go for the group fitness classes.

How do I get better: physically I need to get with a plan, and I suppose nutritionally as well? What has worked for you, as a management consultant and mom - to make time for yourself?

I’m nervous my doctor is going to tell me it’s time to switch. I will never remember to take the pill on time so IUD is next up. All I have heard are horror stories. Any advice?
