The CEO of IBM was on GMA earlier today saying the exact opposite. Emphasizing that folks with soft skills are as important as ever, and absolutely necessary to bridge gaps, communicate, etc. in technical fields like sw development, cyber, etc.
Obviously both are important
You’ll always see more job for tech roles. As you move up, you need a strong understanding of the tool and soft skills become the most important. Planning and prioritizing need is also crucial, takes experience in the trenches to do this well IMO.
Bowl Leader
The demand for both will always exist and isn’t going away for a very long time. I think we go in waves in regards to the direction the demand shifts between a technical resource verse more governance focused. The folks who are technical with soft skills is where the highest demand lives—naturally.
Yes for cloud
I think the demand for both is and will remain sky high, i don’t really see cyber demand declining over the long run
