After two months of interviews, I got an email from the company asking to set up a call with HR manager and Director. Either they are going to let me down via a call or make some kind of verbal offer I assume? I have an idea of salary/package wise of what I would leave for. How can I prepare to negotiate numbers and what other ways can I make the call as productive as possible if it’s an offer discussion?

If I have a Master’s, would it be worth it to go get an MBA once I’m eligible? Do you think not having one will hinder me as I progress/if I decide to exit to industry? I see some posts saying "my package is some 30 lpa Or 40 lpa et etc and what could be the in hand salary after all cuttings ? " If someone can't caluclate his own salary do you think he/she deserves that hefty package?

Lateral from Accenture Consulting to KPMG advisory. Similar city, switching to equivalent career level. Initial offer has a matching salary but I think I can negotiate up. From what I’ve learned the work will be more interesting than what my current group focuses on at Acventure. Considering all things even is there any downside to the switch in terms of company reputation etc. Most of my searches end up with KPMG audit and not a huge amount of info on advisory
