I think schools in the top 10 could make sense. Which school specifically depends on your career goals. For example, say you wanted to do impact investing long term, I could see how a degree at Yale SOM could be helpful
I think it can be depending on career goals!

Interviewed with someone at Ross who was Wharton then few years at top investment management. Used Ross connections to be a top exec at snap and is now a CFO of another startup. Your network and how you utilize connections at any program determines your outcome
M7 can be worth it depending on long term goals.
If you only look at the immediate 2-3 years post MBA, not even HSW is worth it.
Hell no. Waste of money but most importantly, time. You’re already cut from a different cloth than a lot of kids out there. The world is your oyster and you holds the best cards.
Time to clean house! Suggest you go for PE or entrepreneurship (or both?) for your next adventure.

There’s something to be said about a 2 year break from the workforce as well. Also if you truly value education I don’t see why you wouldn’t want to go if you’re sponsored
There is a pretty good article written by a princeton undergrad/ -> bain manager about why she decided against the MBA after prepping and applying intensely for it. You shud def look it up to see some additional perspective!
I think on average with the Wharton network already, you should be one of those H/S or bust candidates
Better question is - is an mba worth it for someone like you? I have a lot of Wharton undergrad friends and I don’t think any are going back to get an MBA. Staying within their respective industries in finance, tech, consulting. Different story if you are looking to pivot out of consulting - but I assume not impossible to do right out of MBB
Thanks for all the feedback. What if I’m sponsored for the mba? How does that change things if at all?
don’t let any of us tell you how to live your life. you’ll do great. just do what you want to do and what feels right. it sounds like you’re in a situation where there aren’t really any bad choices, so just do what you want.
I think it depends on what you want to be doing. I would try to not feel as attached between your self-esteem and the prestige of your work/school. You're obviously very bright to have worked at MBB and gone to an Ivy league school, so don't feel like you're throwing anything away or not living up to "expectations" because you don't attend HSW. There's more important things in life.
From a network and ROI perspective, you don’t need it. But there are other reasons to pursue an MBA, and ultimately you should do what you think is best for you.
