Hi folks, has anyone paid any company to file H1B for them? I got a call from a company called Cyber Chasse. Post an initial screening call, if selected we have to pay 708 usd (non-refundable) for H1B registration. Once we get the visa, processing fee of 5500 + 18% GST USD.

Is this legit? Or the chances are so low that I should not go for it?

Deloitte onboarding E-mail says , it background verification is not complete by target start date , they can postpone the date last minute.
I have 14th march as a start date and I don’t know my background verification status.
I emailed BIONBoarding but no response.
How am I supposed to give notice to my current employer without knowing BGC status ?
Please advise if someone faced this situation.
(P.S. I don’t have any record, just being cautious because I am on H1B/work visa)

Officially had the worst date of my life. Dude kept saying he’s expecting me to pay for the entire tab (which is nbd really) before we reached the restaurant for dinner and drinks. It was all fun and merry until the check came and the waiter gave the check to him instead of me. Date gets offended and calls waiter a sexist bc “why should men pay all the time?” And angrily gives his credit card 💳. I insist and put my credit card as well and we split the tab. 😂🤣 this was our first and last date. ☺️
