Hi! I’m an Indian currently on H1B in US. I got my I-140 approved for the next 3 years and need to step outside the country to get my visa stamped. I’m thinking of visiting India in December and using the drop box feature to get my visa stamped. Any intel on how long does drop box is currently taking to send the passport with visa stamped? I’m hoping to be in india for 2 to 3 weeks and unsure if I would get my visa stamped by then. Is there a source where I can see processing times for drop b?

After months of networking and trying to break into consulting, I managed to secure one interview. I was really nervous at the beginning of the interview so I started off a bit shaky and didn’t come up with the perfect structure, but did really well on the rest. Today I got the rejection email and their feedback was that I need to work on the structure. I had worked on my structure for so long and I only messed up because I was nervous. I feel so defeated with no more interviews. Wtf do I do? 😓

I’m a fourth-year associate who just got an offer to go in house. My experience is in litigation but I’d be working on more corporate matters, which scares me. But I hate billables and firm culture and the in-house company is a huge company where you can make moves in once you’re there. My salary would be the same but I’d get better benefits and bonus opportunities in house. Plus I’m a mom and will have on-site childcare. Should I be scared that switching from litigation will be boring?
