Should I follow up with a recruiter who I talked to about a month ago? They said they will be scheduling virtual coffee with some individuals but haven’t heard back. Not necessarily interviews.

My first company paid in cash 10,000/- per month , I have got payslips stating that I was paid in cash and I got relieving letter and experience letter for that company.
Now I am joining capgemini and it is my third company, will there be any issue in Background check (BGV/BGC) ??

Anyone having idea about this, I heard that capgemini Background check is very tuff.

Does anyone have any advice on how to write standards based IEP goals when the student is significantly behind grade level skills?

I am currently unemployed (but looking) an opportunity to consult has potentially fallen into my lap. Before I shut it down for a lack of experience, I want to know if it's something that I can even do. It's a very very small company, not even 3 FTE. But they are looking for someone to come in, create a Handbook(I can do that), provide benefits, etc.

Is that difficult to implement? I can't imagine it being so, but I don't want to set myself up to fail.

Anyone here work in Kroll share to share some insight into compensation in the senior associate role in the NYC/SF office? I have about 4 YOE

Partners/shareholders - how many hours are you expected to bill on work vs client dev and firm/associate management? My firm keeps saying that "there's no such thing as a relationship partner" and everyone top-to-bottom is expected to log 2000 hours/year on real billable work. Marketing etc is done on top of that. Is that normal?! If so, I'm going to have to totally rethink my life goals.

Has anyone explored branded content in podcasting? Meaning is audio an area of growth and in need of folks who are audio fluent (along w video)?

Curious how others have been creating additional sources of revenue during these unfamiliar times. What are some ways that you or others currently do so? Do you have a lingering idea but have yet to follow through?

People with perennially clean apartments and who don’t have a cleaning service...how do you do it!!? Do you set aside time to clean up every day? Constantly pick up after yourself? Is there some secret I don’t know about? Maybe I’m just a slob.

Thoughts on CAIA? Difficulty, hours studied, study tips, overall experiences, etc.? I’ll be sitting for Level 1 in September. Currently work in the fund of funds space - moving over to my firm’s hedge fund research team soon so CAIA seemed like a perfect way to get knowledge in the area beforehand. I’m almost one year out of undergrad (econ background) so a lot of the CAIA content is new to me

Kind of a loaded question here. I am a recent under-graduate making 100k my first year out of school. I really enjoy it, but don’t feel like I’m adding any value to my desk. Wondering if this is normal or if I’m about to get fired. In the ladder case, should I take my MBA or search for a new role?
