If I scored a 740 I would stop studying in a heartbeat. I would advise you to focus on other parts of your application such as extracurriculars, which is where I stand out (but need to work on my GMAT score a bit)
If you can, why not?
I got a 22 on the ACT, never took the SAT, and only recently have begun to regret my lack of dedication as a young person. If you can get it, then you should get it.
Concur with above, +20 is not going to move the needle. Your score is high enough for them to not doubt ability to handle academic load, focus on the rest of your packet - HBS alum
Unless you have really interesting extra curriculars, even a 760 and 2 years BB won’t get you in. Find an interesting narrative and focus on that
^yes. I actually got my coworkers involved! People are generally kind and giving if they are allowed an outlet to help others
I think you’re good. 20 points won’t make as much difference as volunteering or having a good story about going to HBS.
^not true. I did two years in a boutique with 720 and got in to HBS. With that being said I founded a charity when I was 16
@IBA1 were you still running the charity while you were working?
@IBA1 I also run a non-profit on the side and its in 7 cities (didn’t start it but turned it around). I love getting people I’m friends with/work with involved in it also!
