Not in our performance improvement group, which actually specializes in industries. We're too small to not travel.
Also we don’t have a PE focused group? It’s just that significant volume of our work comes from PE.
Looks on the website like PE is treated more as an industry then a service line, is that accurate? I know a lot of firms it’s kind of both
Try not to equate our go-to-market strategy (aka website) with our organizational structure
My point being, we're small and our recruiting is centralized so if you're interested, just apply and we will put you in front of the right people based on your skills and interests.
If you're only interested in doing work for PE and portcos, it's possible but not guaranteed. We don't have a dedicated group that conduct pre-deal DDs like many other firms (a la Bain PEG).
AlixPartners is a firm of experts, and we run a senior model where everyone is dedicated to a project and will build models and slides (including/especially directors). If you want training, I would argue we're not the place for you.
