When leaving a remote job, should I expect an email from HR about final days, equipment return, final pay check etc? How far before the last day of work should this be sent?

Is strong academic background a criteria to get a lateral job in Accenture strategy? I have strong supply chain planning background (4yrs) and belong to a tier 1 Bschool in Delhi 22batch. I believe I am not paid as per my experience and skills in my present consulting job, hence I want to switch. But I am not getting any CV shortlist.. be it Accenture strategy or Big4. I believe only weak area in my CV is my past acads (8,7,7) but I can certainly substitute it in-depth knowledge. Wht shd I do?
