Yeah. I don’t know why that person even brought attention to that. Would he have said sorry we don’t have any [insert non-white races here] or people with obvious disabilities? That comment from the presenter is actually offensive—as if women have no value to the presentation other than to meet some sort of superficial “diversity” metric!

2 people of any representation can be presenting - you don’t have to force diversity across teams of 2..

It seems like every firm advertises that they support diversity and inclusion. What does your firm actually do in terms of mentorship or other programs for diverse attorneys and do you find it actually beneficial? My firm reached out about a mentorship program where they were supposed to pair us with a partner mentor who is also person of color, but I still haven't heard back.
