ALL THE TIME. Things you can do: drink lots of water, avoid foods high in sodium, avoid carb overload, buy clothes that aren’t tight around the waist (just for comfort)
More veggies less carbs!
Peppermint tea with chamomile and ginger
Less/minimal alcohol intake! Consistent exercise also has helped me reduce my bloating. I used to get painfully bloated and I 1) started drinking more water 2) stopped drinking on an empty stomach 3) stopped drinking fizzy water 4) stated exercising more consistently
And extreme bloating could also be an intolerance to something like dairy or gluten
I get bloated from air travel 😩
When all else fails - take a Midol.
I could be imaging this but I drink kombucha/take probiotics and I think that helps. But who knows lol
I just went through this...Drink lots of water. Eat veg/fruit/meat; stay away from salty food (all the restaurant food here is so salty). Walk/exercise.
Find food with a probiotic your tummy likes. I found kombucha works better for me than yogurt. If I can have a kombucha before I fly, it prevents jet bloat (believe me,5 hours with bloat is painful)
My dr also gave me some water pills. Haven’t tried them, yet, as change in food seems to have helped.
Good luck!
I up my water intake the day before, day of, and day after fly day. I also drink ~8-10oz of coconut water before bed almost every day (yes, has some sugar but helps my digestion and skin hydration). I also ALWAYS carry peppermint tea and GasX chewables in a pinch! Peppermint is really good at helping cut the gas in your gut and settle the stomach
