HR is not aware of what project I will get into .

Question for consultants- Why don’t more of you go independent and work for yourself?
Given the discrepancy between what you get paid and what the company bills the client, you could meet in the middle and both make out great. If you have one or two clients that have work long term, you will make far more money, have less stress because you don’t have to deal with the logistics of 2 companies and have far more control over what work you do. ESPECIALLY if you are a consultant who is actually good

Advice needed
I just got a call and received an offer from NBC Sports. The recruiter said salary and everything else is nonnegotiable. His words were “there’s zero wiggle room for you”. I asked for a couple days to review the offer letter and benefits and he said he can’t send me that stuff till I verbally accept the job. They would want me to relocate from LA to NY, but won’t even disclose the relocation allowance till I accept the offer made. Is this recruiter just playing hard ball??

Got promoted from manager to senior manager and salary increase and alleged bonus was embedded into the compensation increase of only 12% increase. Seems very low. Is this common at a mid size public accounting firm ?

I recently relocated to Ireland with M level. I got to know that compensation is less and it's about 65k Euros for the manager band.
