I just started working at another law firm (big law). The partner I work for trusted me with a closing for his biggest client which went smoothly. However, my colleagues told me that a senior female associate voiced her frustration openly at the firm that I was put in charge (she had worked for this client in the past and had never met him). She is now constantly criticizing my work and puts the partner in cc. I would be grateful for any advice on how to navigate this unfortunate situation. Tx!

Offered $115K with a $5K sign on bonus for a senior position in risk at a similar consulting firm. I had noted in the beginning I had previously received a $120K offer from a bank that I had declined because it was a hybrid role. Since this is a remote role, I'd be happy with this amount but I was wondering if I should negotiate. 6 years of experience, no license, NY. In addition, I have a vacation already planned in first 2 weeks of July. Should I add the delayed start date to my negotiation?

Following a previous thread about net worth. I'm 23 and trying to ramp up mt net worth and improve overall finances. I don't own a house (yet), no significant debt (6k car loan), good contribution to 401k, and starting saving heavily (including some light investing).
