Hi PWC, sorry. I thought I responded to you. Yes, I actually have a chart that shows my weight transformation. Unfortunately, I started IF at the same time as my diet so I don’t have a clear separation from a data perspective. I know diet had a lot to play in my acceleration but jump starting my metabolism with IF and targeting fat really helped too. I like doing IF. It’s easy for me and something I can use to help me moving forward. Here is the chart. I started IF and Diet in January. You can see the acceleration after December.

My dog walker just told me she’s moving and I don’t know of anyone else who provides dog walking services in my neighborhood.
I work 9-10 hour shifts. My girl and I get lots of exercise in the evenings, and she does not have anxiety being alone.. but I’m worried.

For those that work 8hr+/day, what do you do?

Work from home is not an option for me right now.

How do you deal when you know you’re just so burnt out? I feel it— everything is magnified, home life feels more chaotic. I’m looking for jobs. Getting nowhere and lots of automated rejection notes. Work demands are never ending. We have staff, not the right staff, so a lot of work falls to me. I never get to turn off. It’s wearing. I’ve been trying “take care of myself” going to yoga, getting a drink with a friend, but the demands leave me feeling like I never get to be idle.

I was listening to a podcast for one of the courses I’m taking and thought I’d share some cool stuff about building habits:

- Willpower is not as effective in making a long term change compared to building habits

- Reduce friction (eg much more likely to go to gym if it’s 5 mins away vs 10)

- Take an existing habit and add your new habit onto it

- Use chaos and stressful times to rethink practical decisions

- To break bad habits, add friction (eg phone & charger away at night)

Anyone else using the Welltory app? I enjoy using it but the data indicates I am usually in the red zone, which is definitely not healthy. Based on the limited knowledge I have, I suspect I’ve got chronic stress. Aside from Welltory, lmk if you have any tips to turn off the fight or flight zone.

Hi y’all, wanted to ask for recommendations on really good workout leggings that aren’t $100 (Lululemon). I currently buy them from Amazon (Heathyoga) but the quality of the leggings I purchased recently wasn’t as good as the ones I got last year.

Can someone please explain to me how after going to the gym for two weeks, I have only gained like 4 or 5 pounds, when before going I would be loosing weight? I don't think I am eating more now, about the same as before. I get not losing weight after just two weeks, but gaining?????????????Help!
