Almost brought a BCG umbrella to work today. Does bringing stuff branded with competitors' names matter (home office, not client office)?

Let me clarify. Yes, that's a bad thing. As Bain1 said, the few that care could care a lot (probably the more senior folk will care). They will assume that if you're happy do take it to your actual office you'd probably be happy to take in public and to your client, both of which are not promoting your own firm. P.S. Swag is the best

Also, at Jr you might not have full appreciation but if one of the partners competes often with BCG for work, they might not be cool about it.

No one will seriously hold it against you, but they'll probably make fun of you.

I guess I'll just use the BCG umbrella on my personal time then. It's actually pretty high quality! If my own firm gave me such a good umbrella, I'd definitely be using it... Hint hint.
