I recently passed the CFE and was looking into the CAMS next. Any suggestions on how to best prepare for the CAMS? I’ve been mostly reviewing the index cards that come with the prep material.

Do you make the determination of export control classification number (ECCN) yourself based on each inbound disclosure? Do you ask the client to provide the ECCN, if they know it? Do you play ostrich? Or something else?

Why why why does this country take so long in processing EADs?!?! Are people supposed to just “live without income” for 14 months how???

The builder put the wrong brick on my new construction house. We agreed on one brick and then we were informed that they ran out and will use one that is a shade darker. We agreed to that. They started bricking a couple days ago and the bricks look nothing like what we agreed on. They charged me 31k for the elevation. What are my options? I have a meeting with them on Monday.

Colleague has put in his resignation. They are offering him whatever he wants to stay including 4days a week work from home. He’s not bluffing and plans to leave. However, at this same time I was asked to begin working as a supervisor for the engineering team and I would get a promotion at the beginning of the year. I have been supervising and managing our team of 6 for months with no extra pay or bonuses. I was told yesterday that raises will be light this year. Yet today they spare nothing.

I was reached out on LinkedIn by a design manager for a get-to-know call. I have never done a screening call with a design manager before. I haven’t sent her my resume— She didn’t ask, and I completely forgot.
My resume has my portfolio website and a password, but I kinda want to chat with her before sharing my work, so she can see how passionate I am and I am willing to learn before she sees my work. Is it okay if I don’t share my resume before the screening call? Or omit link to my website?

Is it a turn off if someone from Hinge lives in Williamsburg and not downtown Manhattan? Too much of a trek and cheaper? I’ve seen people here say living in UES is a turn off because it’s cheaper and not as trendy
