Recently accepted an offer at Twitter (I haven’t resigned yet thankfully) and of course have yet to hear back since the news of the layoffs.

Am I crazy to move forward if the offer isn’t rescinded? I’m deflated after many rejections, unhappy in my current role and the role is something I’m passionate about - I’m also no better off in terms of TC and frustrated since there will be no RSU package due to the acquisition.

Hey ladies - a little personal question 🙃 I used to get brazilian waxes every 6 weeks but stopped because I moved to a different state. I got one a month ago for the first time in 9 months, and noticed that the regrowth this time is super itchy, scaly, and inflamed/bumpy despite regular exfoliation. Had my annual review 6 months before a soft goal date of becoming a partner at a small firm. The firm started running metrics recently - it looks like others put a lot more billable time (many employees are older with kids grown). There were comments that I need to finish jobs sooner (push clients, staff, just prep myself, etc). I don’t disagree with these goals, but none of these were discussed as such in the last 2 years. Curious -how do you feel about coworkers following you on social media (i.e I’m referring to Instagram, Snapchat, etc. NOT LinkedIn). I love sharing my life outside of work on social & I always second guess what I share because I know my coworkers are watching. My husband (40) and I (40) want another baby. But after witnessing how my husband handled his parental duties with our first (constant complaining, doing the exact opposite of what I asked of him like holding the baby to sleep during sleep training, etc), I do not want to experience the constant fighting again. I learned that this is how he is when things get tough. Any tips on how to navigate this? Anyone else in the same situation?
