Sad that transphobic articles are so common:
How is Chicago 🐠s? Diversity, nightlife, transportation, etc? Thinking of where my next jaunt will be after NYC. Chicago seems like a great city, but I've only been once for a short trip
I’m sure this is discussed a lot, but genuinely wondering from leaders at firms - I’m a first generation, Indian male. Parents immigrated to America and have worked minimum wage labor jobs to raise my and my siblings. They speak very poor English, but always prioritized me and my siblings’ education. I don’t expect any handouts or policies to encourage hiring of candidates like myself, but wanted to ask, do you view candidates like us as diversity hires in consulting?
Hello! Anyone have recommendations of a good OBGYN in the Fairfax area? I don’t have a gender preference but definitely would like someone experienced because I expect complications with my age and genetic stuff etc. I will be cross posting across other threads too.
Looking to switch firms. Which consulting firms are really about the diversity recruiting lovesss to promote but HR doesnt enforce?!
Evaluating a new company, how big of a red flag is a lack of diversity in leadership? Big4, and the entire management team is Indian men.
Mediabrands folks: was anyone else forced to take that diversity and inclusion survey by their managers?
New York. All talk and no action here when it comes to actual inclusion and not cosmetic efforts.
I have an initial call with Meta for an investigations/risk/fraud role. Any Meta folks willing to provide some tips? I have an extensive investigations background but want to be fully prepared! Thanks!
In my late 20s just got a job offer in a new city. Instead of wondering if this is the the best move for my career my first thought was I wonder if dating will be better there? 😅🙃
What phone do new hires get nowadays?

If my manager says I can work from home, is it ok I travel to another city and work from there? Or do I have to stand by and prepare to go to office?
One Cyber at PwC. Your thoughts?
So. The women above us. How do we get them to see our value as opposed to seeing us as a threat that must be removed?
How should I start a conversation with my boss about a promotion? What things should I bring up as evidence that I'm not only consistently hitting - but surpassing - my performance goals and targets?
Beach time taught me how un-purposeful my work is. All of the motivation and positivity I get is from validation coming from my team / leadership / client and never the work itself. And I realize this also may apply to the typical consulting exit roles. Time to clean my slate and start over I guess.
What type of men’s coat should I buy for cold weather (NY). Side note I always use a blazer and I’m 5’8 (don’t want to look shorter then what I already am) TIA
I have a quick questions for an Associate Advisor with 3 years of experience what’s a good salary pay and commission currently for me it’s 50k plus my commission split 90/10 (90 goes to the senior advisor and 10 goes to me) just seems like these numbers are very low.
I am always surprised and disappointed by colleagues who act like friends, but as soon as you change either grade level, school location, or career position, you never hear from them again. What is your take on this?
Anyone have insights on comp range at Slack for a Senior Solutions Engineer in Enterprise/Large Enterprise?
Can anyone recommend a home elliptical machine (ideally 2-in-1 bike combo) for under $500?
Currently in inside sales @ Dell. Don’t mind the work but would prefer a path that is not so customer/outside facing. Have been pondering UX/UI or a more software engineering type path but here’s the thing: is it worth it if I have to go back to school? Are there other ways to learn more software related positions? Open to any and all suggestions RE: path to take, getting into UX/UI, feeling overwhelmed as a new post-grad trying to figure out what’s next 😅
any idea where to find a temporary place to stay until early May? i thought to stay away from my roommate temporarily.
