70 for an average week sounds accurate to me. I’ve had very few weeks where I’m under 65 hrs

Which practice?

What about the CFO services group? Also, what do you actually consider working 60-70? Sitting on computer? Or actually working/meetings? How much work vs meetings is it?

like

Expect that when you are staffed you will work 60-70 weeks but only be able to bill 40-45.

Respectfully, your MDs and SDs are doing a piss poor job managing your projects and engagement economics if that’s the case.

Do these comments also apply to the CFO Services practice within PEPI?

Does anyone have suggestions for how to negotiate a severance? I was laid off with zero warning after being told my job was secure. They blindsided me. They’re also trying to get me to sign the NDA ASAP so we can “leave on good terms”. They made sure to draw my attention to the non disparagement clause. I have 21 days to sign, so not sure what that means from a risk factor situation for them. I asked for additional comp and health insurance. They came back with slightly better package.

Is 210 enough to live an upper middle class life in Dallas? Not trying to come off as shallow just genuinely trying to understand. Have a $300K offer in NJ and $210k offer in Dallas (single income, small family) and want to make sure I’m able to give my family a great life. Dallas seems like amazing place to raise a kid, but it’s also not as cheap as everyone seems to think. The houses we want are $650-$700K range. Insight appreciated
