Anyone who is more of a fan of fewer high quality moments of contact over spending every waking minute together. Don't think it has to do with occupation necessarily.
My girlfriend is a CRNA (nurse anaesthetist) and we work well together. Two very different careers so there's no talk about work when I'm with her (unless we specifically bring it up). She's also really busy so the long hours and days away don't bother her as much. My ex was a consultant and it was too much type Aness in one relationship
Honestly, it really doesn't matter. It's all about personality and how much both parties are willing to invest. I dated people that used "soft skills" in their professions and it didn't go anywhere. They never understood me- my drive, ambition. I personally need someone who I can fall back on when shit hits the fan. Surprisingly, I fell in love with another consultant. Yes it's hard at times (mostly finding time for each other) but when we do it's magical. We are at exact same wavelength and call each other's bs out all the time. And laugh about it. We are also older that may play role in that. Overall, don't put so much weight into these things- focus on personality, humility, etc etc... you know the answer.
Avoid anyone who is not needy/high maintenance. Period. Demanding SO is the worst for our work.
Anyone in finance. I usually have good luck w Wallstreeters. Or the military.

Anything that has a lot of human touch and requires softer skills. Nursing, teachers, etc. Type A personalities only work if there is competition but also a desire to compromise.
