I am an personal lines account manager/client manager (property and casualty) going on 6 years experience and I am being paid $53k a year. I am living in CA and work for a large corporation (about 1500 employees). Do you think that $53k is low or seems like adequate pay?

At a T2 firm and constantly doing 60+ hours a week but a lot of it is just responding to client BS. I am still fairly junior so wondering a switch to commercial law makes sense. I know they work a lot harder, but does anyone have a more tangible figure & what kind of job they would be doing?

Starting to realise that I would rather have a specialty in something and thinking deeply about the problem rather than constantly leveraging someone else's expertise.

I'm losing my mind. I desperately want to roll off my project, I hate it, gives me anxiety. But i signed a contract about a year and half ago to buy a new build home & won't be starting the underwriting process until the home is done some time in Sep. My lender/RE Agent said I can change jobs as long as I make the same or more. I can have a one month gap between jobs. As a senior analyst, 3 YOE overall, is it too risky to quit? What’s a good way to stop being jealous? A friend of mine has been extremely lucky when it comes to job. Got their job out of undergrad last minute when someone dropped out. Their manager moved to MBB and needed people so pulled them over. Now they work on an internal team (40 hour weeks or less) making 200+ while I’m grinding away making 120.
