10-yr experience sales manager in the chemical industry, with strong technical background. Currently finishing MBA studies and thinking about relocation to US in a sort of Sales Director role or similar. Any of you know the industry there? Are there good opportunities around? if so, what is the typical salary level for this role?

While attending college I decided to work full-time, at the smaller company that I am working for I have worked my way up to being our Director of sale and operations…… earlier this week I sent out my résumé to a couple of companies to see what is out there and now I am interviewing for a VP of business development position at a larger company this week. So, I started a job in lockdown. During that time I spoke to management about BLM and racism in the industry. I’m POC. They were open and positive about it. Last week my CD said that though he’s really happy with my work, I‘ll be let go after my trial period because the agency is not doing well financially. Which is true. But I also notice that after I’m gone, the creative dept will be only white and mostly male. Not intentional...right? (interns are gone too, one being the only Black creative)

Limited at my current firm due not having CPA. I want to take a few months off to take the exams and then re-enter the market seeking a manager role ( 6 years experience) at a mid to larger size firm.
