Hello,
My name is Vania Awuah. I attend Regent University and I’m majoring in Industrial Organizational Psychology. I have my bachelors in Psychology. I am currently looking for jobs in my field such as consultant or human capital jobs. I have about 1-2 years in Human Resources but it is hard for jobs to accept me with my field. I let Regent University career service help me with my resume but I haven’t been able to find a job or get any job offers. Is there’s any advice or anything I can do? Regent University @

Lol. If you do PMO type of work, you should go to consulting. I can’t imagine any scenario where you will learn tech more in consulting.

Ah. I can see that can get boring
Though if you don’t have intentions of chasing partnership, consulting might not be a good choice. Like it or not , you will be pushed towards sales. My suggestion would be to try other tech firms.
I hear you. I left consulting for federal government and I was dying a slow death of boredom with nothing to do. I came back to KPMG cause I missed the fast paced environment. I will never become a partner because I’m just not partner material and that’s okay. I enjoy the different projects and faster pace environment. Until I figure out what I want to do this job fills up the time.
were you already on the govt side in consulting? if so idk how you'd think working directly for govt would be fun 💀
You're not crazy, I had similar feelings while at AWS. Only thing that stopped me was the huge pay cut I would've had to take going back to consulting
