Earlier i was hired to work on testing/automation but after joining training was never given on that and they took me in an internal project which i wasn't aware of. After working for more than a year i want to switch to testing, so I requested the same to a higher official. They said we can't switch you to testing as you don't have training but we can take you later on and give you training side by side with your current project. Should I believe them or switch the company. Please help PwC

Yes. Just give two weeks. It won’t kill you.
That seems fair but why give up three days pay for which you’ll likely be unassigned....
^ this. They will let you know if they only want you there until the end of the project
Offer two weeks, but mention it may make the most sense if you leave in 1.5 since your work will be wrapped up. They’ll work with you if able to!
This will most likely happen anyway, but it doesn't hurt to mention as STA1 suggested. And if they excuse you early, you'll still get paid out for the full two weeks.
EY 1 - I believe most firms will pay you through the two weeks even if you only work a portion of that time. I may be wrong though. It also could be circumstantial.
So putting your two weeks in is just a courtesy, You can leave the day you tell HR if you wanted. With Workday being involved it’s a little hard because your resignation has to be approved now but technically once you are ready to leave you just need to go through your offboarding checklist and bounce. Granted, 2 weeks is the norm but 1.5 is definitely fine. Your offering to help your team finish a project and then you’re on to better things. Good luck!
Oh dang thought I was in the pwc bowl, so it’s a pwc response btw
Well, if you want good references in the future.. but otherwise yeah.
