Make $120k Accenture now doing tech implementations, just got offer 200k TC EY business consulting. I love my job, have a great WLB (working 20 hours per week, no travel, clear path to M in about 1.5 years) - am I an idiot for even contemplating staying? What I would be doing is more PPT/functional vs Onestream/technical which I do now.
Does EY send any goodies pre-hire?
Does Gartner drug test? Asking for a friend…

Salesforce seems to have it all: great brand name, always at the top of “best places to work” lists, industry leader, smart people, etc. Am I crazy for not accepting an offer with them and instead going to a smaller company with zero brand name recognition?
I am not in San Fran, so I feel like I would lose a lot of the benefits of working at SF. I also feel like the work I would do there is just more of the same of what I’m currently doing as a consultant. The smaller company wants me to actually build a team and transform the way they do business on my specific piece of software, whereas I would just be a small piece of the larger team at SF
I think I know the right decision for ME, but I can’t shake the idea that I would be stupid to turn down SF.
You did what was best for you and what would interest you. Trust your gut.

What role? And did the comp work out?
Depends on the role. If it's Sales... Then that's a role that has to fit you. But, if it's a consulting role or their architects. That's a solid role
