Anybody know any remote reinsurance roles?
I have recently been selected for a partner round at Deloitte for data science consultant position. Can someone tell me what they ask? Also what should be my expected salary in Ireland? Is it wise to state I want around 60k? Or are consultants not paid that much? Please help me. I am new to this. I have a work exp in consulting for 2.5 years and have done my masters recently. Privilege in this here post
No reason to live alone. You save money and I actually like my roommate. I always have someone to hang out with.
I'm about to move out to move in with a fiancé but otherwise I'd have no plans to ever live alone
OP has clearly never lived anywhere near NYC
Most people have roommates for financial reasons, not because they want to
"unless you're always travelling and just need a place for the weekend."
Which applies to 90% of us in this bowl.
^ Or any major city, really. If you're 26, live in a major city, and have a one-bedroom, I'd actually question your intelligence wrt money management. But, then again, OP's privilege blinds him to the plight of the non-wealthy...
Stop having independent thoughts and get back to building my deck
Do whatever makes you happy. I have plenty of friends around 30 with a roommate they really enjoy hanging out with - you do you
1. Save money
2. Love my room mate
3. Always have plans for brunch and to try out new work out classes
4. Love my room mate
(I'd have room mates into my 30s if I don't find an SO. There are no rules here!)
26 and just moved home 🙌
Not possible in NYC until you make over 100k. And I would say even then you aren't "comfortable" until you make around 150k.
I love when an oblivious OP makes an ignorant post. Then gets shamed by everyone's comments and doesn't respond to anyone's follow ups.
It's not exactly economical to live alone in NYC, SF, or Boston. I did it for a year, but decided to go back to having a roommate to cut costs/pay off student loans faster. Would I in an ideal world? Yeah probably, but not bc someone else *thinks* I should.
What BCG1 said.
I think I'm living my life in reverse - moved in with roommate at 28. Can't believe I wasted so much money until then and the fact that I had started talking to my pillow 😂
There is no rule, do what works best for your life/work balance.
That's partly why I picked Dallas vs NYC. I'm 30. Living alone in Dallas is far cheaper than living with a roommate in NYC
I got my first solo place at 27 and absolutely love it. Thought I'd be lonely but the freedom is so amazing. I highly recommend it if you can afford it. Also really looking forward to moving in with my girlfriend so there's that.
I told my roommate that and she said what, you're divorcing me?
Am I the only one that thinks OP should mind their own damn business?
