Do you also expense weekend meals in order to survive to make it to work on Monday?
Nope. I consider that part of the day-to-day necessities. TBH, I'm surprised the SM above would even question that. I have my team put it under snacks or some other catch all caregory; it's a necessity to keep you in decent shape during the grind.
I try to not nickel dime my company or my client.
Yes, what do you even expense that under, miscellaneous sundry? As a sr manager at EY I would have been asking questions about that.
If a client wants me there on the weekend, then yes. Aka..2 weeks on,1 week off on int'l clients. If your engagement fees can't account for emergenC to keep you from being sick, then you might want to revisit your terms.
