Are there any recruiters from IBM who have information on their apprenticeship program (Soft Eng)? I have applied and my application is under review. How much knowledge/skill set does one actually need to get into the new collar program? From what I have gathered online, it's kind of a mixed bag and can take a long time to onboard someone. I am self taught, know the basics of two languages and have some small projects to show. Just wondering if there is anyone that has been through this process.

The thing with video subscription services is that you can easily jump from one to another month-on-month depending on the time you have for TV and the content you're looking for.
You are definitely not the only one...the streaming services keep raising their subscription rates, too, and for what? There aren't really any good shows on. I'm finding that they're becoming a waste of money and I need to limit my time staring at screens anyways, haha.
I knooow, Hulu just raised their prices AGAIN. They don't even increase the quality of the content to match the price hike
You're not the only one. I cancelled my subscription a few months ago because I was getting really tired of the same old shows. It seems like Netflix is more focused on making money than creating good content.
HBO is a really solid choice. Same price or lower than most other services but they get new movies fast and other high-quality productions
I disagree, these types of platforms wait for the premieres of others so they don't share the audience, right now platforms like HBO or Amazon prime, have better material, but that tends to change in a year.
I guess, but I still feel like there's been an increasing trend with Netflix making duds with most of their original shows and movies
I did the same thing 4 months ago, it seems to me that they are going through a very bad artistic moment.
Definitely, all these terrible live-action anime adaptations hurt me to my core
Netflix started with the intention of capturing a large amount of content in a short time, which makes the quality decrease, but I understand that the intention for 2023 is to stop producing so much and improve the quality.
I hope so, it feels like Netflix has attacked us with a barrage of shows just to see what sticks. Hoping for the next Stranger Things type of success I guess
I think these kinds of platforms are of styles, if what you want is something entertaining to watch that fills you with emotion, hire platforms like HULU or HBO, if what you want is to always have something new to watch stay with Netflix, that's how it is for me.
You think so about Netflix? I feel like HBO and Amazon Video are superior at providing fresh content
Yup! Only streaming service I pay for now is HBO
HBO is excellent. Their content is so consistently good.
It's gone. Netflix has betrayed me a few too many times now. So many shows I enjoy get canceled out of the blue, it's always so frustrating lol
Netflix now has a pitiful amount of truly high-quality content. It was a bit of a shame to see it go wayside
I haven't cancelled yet. However, my entire family shares one. So I feel like we get our moneys worth.
I'm currently sharing a subscription with my family and we're still making the most out of it. But I agree with the lack of any good shows or movies. It feels like they're prioritizing the quantity over quality nowadays.
That's true, their family package is one of the few things they got going on
I still have it, but thinking about canceling it. Sometimes I don't lose hope that a good show will come up! For now, I use it as background noise.
My boyfriend pays for my netflix account so I just keep it there. Although, netflix has to step up their game and not just their subscription fee!
I haven't cancelled it yet but I'm definitely getting to the point where I'm on there less and less. More of their shows seem to be following an algorithm-inspired pattern and I feel like I'm missing the creativity that makes me love shows. I miss when they were taking chances with shows like Lillehammer.
I went for Hulu just this month. Best decision I've had lately. Never going back to Netflix again
