Basics:
Legal assistant for 20 years (I’m under 40yrs old). I’ve been at my current company (big law) for almost 5 years. Just had my review and I was placed in the top tier category in the review process. I have 21 years of SAP experience and I have cleared the technical and managerial rounds for level 6 ( senior manger ) . My current CTC is 43 L fixed.

Can you please let me know what is the highest salary ( fixed component only) for a senior manager so that I can negotiate in the HR round accordingly.

I had cleared all the technical+ managerial round in @amdocs . Even salary discussion had also happened. And they were about to share the offer letter. But now they are saying that hiring is on hold now for the project.

Today I had HR discussion wherein my expected CTC was 12.5LPA but HR said they can only give 10LPA including variable..After long discussion I said I'm expecting 11.5LPA atlast then HR said she will get back to me at today EOD..but I didn't receive any updates yet.
Did I miss the offer or HR had to get approval?
Do I need to call and accept whatever they are offering?
But I feel I'm lowballed as I don't have any offer in hand and I'm desperate to get this job..

Meta low ball compensation for leadership roles M1 compared to Amazon. A friend of mine just got an offer at Amazon 285k base 15% bonus and about 1mm in equity. I feel a bit jealous honestly as Meta only offered me $236k base 20% bonus and 1m in equity am I being low balled on base ? YOE 20

I realize that companies have very different timelines too, but how do you all queue up your personal timeline to be able to consider multiple offer(s) if it leads to that?
