A&M people - I don’t think you have an office where I live. Is there an option to join remote or are you guys big believers in the office?

We believe in remote work and office work

have to live near an office, yep

A&M is hybrid

Depends on service line, but typically you have to live near office

Advice, please!A local, well established firm is seeking me out. I was upfront that I was not looking but because he was persistent and this could be something I’m interested in for the future, I had a sit down with him. At the end, he said the ball was in my court and he would love for me to go through a formal interview. The firm seems great, but my current position is 100% remote and fits perfectly into my schedule. Do I interview even though I wouldn’t consider changing until next year?!

Right now I work for PSCU and I make $20/hr as a service desk tech. PatientPoint just offered me a job for an L2 position @ $24/hr. PSCU came back and gave me a counter-offer of pulling me in as a direct-hire, $2k sign-on bonus, and $21/hr.

PSCU is 100% remote and PatientPoint is 3 days in-office 2 days remote.

I can't for the life of me decide what to do.

The L2 thing is exciting.

PSCU is a non-profit. Glassdoor seems to favor PSCU.

I am hiring a paid media manager at Golin to join my team. Ideally someone with 3-4 years experience and wants to work with one of the best clients I’ve actually worked with in my career. We’re social focused and growing fast. I’m a firm believer in work-life balance and building a team that loves creating the best work of our lives. Remote is fine but central/pacific time zone works best for our clients. Ping me for details!

Have any firms begun allowing permanent remote work since the pandemic? My firm has historically been proud of its office-based culture but I’ve been pushing for WFH and would love to hear of some examples. Recently accepted a great offer from one of those startup-within-a-large-company outfits. The startup farms out the hiring stuff to the larger company. In the new hire paperwork, I noticed it said the comp was based on my being in a Tier 1 CoL city. Prior to accepting I'd mentioned to the startup I was looking to move, and they said it shouldn't be an issue. Will they adjust my comp down if I move to a Tier 2 city? Startup is fully distributed and remote.
