A&M people, is it possible to get hired into the FDD practice out of an FDD role at an MM firm like RSM/BDO/GT? I’m wondering if I would need to switch to big 4 first to even have a shot.

Calling all the folks in the SaaS selling space. I genuinely want to know what makes having SaaS selling industry experience so unique? Here’s a little background: I was negatively impacted during the pandemic when working at a hospitality SaaS company as a CSM. Now I’m trying to work my way back into the SaaS space as either a sales professional or CSM but I feel like my six years of selling experience is being discounted because it wasn’t in the SaaS industry.

I've been on the hunt for my new adventure (not in that industry). I am finding it hard! Majority of the time I don't hear back. When I do get interviews, I get "we decided not to fill this role," or I get to the final round and am not selected. I am looking for advice on my resume and cover letter. Gonna start work at PWC audit this year (looking to move into FDD after 1 busy season), and also studying for GMAT to get in MBA.

Originally was looking to get into either consulting, but reading about comp in this bowl has made me feel more hopeful about the opportunity I currently have.

Would it make sense for me to take on student debt and maybe get into consulting or just go into FDD if money is the only factor?

2 year MBA + 1 year wait (with debt), vs audit->fdd (w/o debt)?
