What is the trick to developing a new habit? I had to change up my nighttime routine back in may and I still hate it/have to force myself to do all the steps so I don't deal with the negative results for a week.

Needless to say, that makes me feel like crap about trying to get back to daily workouts.

Teeth are constantly in pain although my dentists can’t find anything wrong. It’s this cycle of going to see my dentist, them saying everything looks fine, the pain stopping, and then the pain starting again. It’s been months of dealing with this and I can’t take it anymore. I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. How do you deal with imposter syndrome? I'm a new therapist and I work with a bunch of women who have been doing this for ages. They're all really sweet, but I can't help feeling like I'm way out of my league. I had technical and behavioral interview today at Deloitte Canada for visual analytics and information design position.
In technical round there was a case study to create visual data sheet and present it to technical round.

It went good they asked couple of questions and showed that at some point it lacks of continuity and rest thing is good. I have been told we will discuss and send details to HR and you will get update within few days. What are the chances that they can hire me ?

I got turned down for three mid level design positions. I don’t know if it’s because my last position was as an art director and they’re just confused or if I seem not as enthusiastic about the role as I should be but it’s definitely disheartening because I’m unemployed and I need to get back to work. I have since decided to focus more on senior designer and Art Director roles at a higher rate and will go from there.

Projects here have a deadline of 1 or 2 days while the same project in the US I had 2 weeks.

Is this normal?

I had a really weird interview for Creative Director today.

It’s a small startup. HR interviewed me and asked all the hard hitting questions (how do you get design inspiration, how do you deal with design roadblocks, what sets you apart for this role?) which I thought was odd for a screening interview.

They made some affirmative noises then said the next step would be a design test (one pager) which I would present to a panel of interviewers including the CMO.
Anyone else think this is odd?
