I had a call with a team member for a position I'm in the interview process for (soon to have a call with the recruiter). The person seemed passive aggressive during the call and hung up on me before I was able to say thank you for his time or bye. I didn't have my interview yet but I was told that this call is known to the team and the recruiter. Does it seem like I bombed the interview before even having the interview since it didn't end on a good note?

I’m a recent JD/MBA graduate that was offered (1) a position with a 100-300m AUM VC firm, and (2) a position with a top law firm in a niche that I find very interesting and is extremely in demand right now, and with a group of ppl that I enjoy working with. The VC position would be lower cash base, little to no chance of carry, and it’s pretty much a 3-year contract where partnership path seems unlikely and the role will mostly be focused on sourcing. Which path should I pursue and why?
