My husband is wanting to transition from the construction industry to tech. He’s an extremely successful PM but the work life balance in construction is almost nonexistent. Are there any certifications he should get that would help him make the move / any advice on what role he could step in to using his experience as a PM? I work for a small business and on March 4th I was offered a higher level position with a much higher set of responsibilities. I was excited and agreed pending a conversation regarding salary that was to take place one week later on 3/11. I immediately saw that I was being tasked projects and added to emails that had to do with my new title and as a team player, I did my part. On 3/11 I was only offered a $10k/year raise which was much lower than I expected… rest in comments

So I just joined a team as a product designer under the pretence I would be acting as a UX designer.

In talks with product managers, they express that their role encompasses being advocates for the user. Which is great, but they also stated their role is to conduct interviews, determine and solve problems, and provide rough wireframes of their proposed solution.

They say they'll involve me in the process but I am worried I'll be boxed into being just a UI designer.

Has anyone dealt with this?

Had two rounds of phone interviews with G, the recruiter called a week after the first one and scheduled me for a second. I thought the second one went really well. But the recruiter has been ghosting me ever since, 3.5 weeks now. I wrote a not after 2, but no reply. Ghosting - is that common? I don’t think it is a reject yet, I am told G always calls back if it is a reject. Delays and ghosting usually happens if you are cleared for next, but they are working on the logistics, potential team etc

Hi All, I have an urgent query regarding TCS BGC process. My issue is that I have worked in X, Y and Z companies.
In X company I worked for 26months but my pf account is there for last 13months, before that my salary was very low so sometimes I got salary in hand or in pay cheque. I do have salary account statement for most of the months except 3-4 months in between my tenure. Will I face any issue for this?
