I joined as a fresher in tcs...now its 2.9 yrs ....first my mindset was just to focus on learning ....and i worked very hard here ....over worked as per expectations......still unfortunately ....i got a very toxic manager .....who just for ownself did politics and gave me c band and he even gone too much personal to me in that extent......i got released from that project.....from that day i just lost all the motivation to work here in tcs.......lost all thirst to work here

But salary negotiations didn't went well and they didn't release the offer letter. Again after 2weeks I was interviewed by TCS & cleared the technical round, but this time after uploading the documents they came back to me & said they couldn't process my profile, As different BU has already started my process & kept on hold. Trust. I had three situations in the last 24 hours where things did not work out as they should or I was given wrong information. These situations were small and are definitely first world issues.

I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.

GHIV update/retro: I was incorrectly too bullish the past 2 weeks (held 3k+ calls) and I increased my risk when I should have decreased it. Nonetheless those who took my low-risk strategy with $10 calls should still be up 100%+. The positive catalyst of the Tuesday webinar did not materialize because CEO was wary to influence stock price. Now the earnings report - which I am still very bullish on - is coming early February (merger is next week). GHIV still takes up most of my portfolio.

Anyone have anxiety about tracking stocks? I want to make money and can’t sleep in past 6:30am (in the West Coast) because the market is open and obsessively tracking every move.

How do you determine which contract to sell when you have multiple contracts of the same stock? For example i have multiple contracts with various strikes and expiration dates on FB and wanted to take some profits and cut losses on some. Some I bought a few weeks ago so they were more expensive then some of others. I was just wondering if there is a strategy on which to sell or is it all based on expiration date or is it some combo of expiration date and premium paid.

Do you need enough capital to buy the lot if you are selling calls? I am level 3 (highest level), but TDA won’t let me sell options if I don’t have enough capital held free..

$GOL and $AZUL: high risk trade here but sharing the idea. Both getting HAMMERED right now due to Brazil covid sitch being the worst maybe in the world. Also strong dollar hurts their earnings overall. Earnings are coming in about a week. Potential for reversal there but the big play is if they are bad (they should be) and both go down further. At that point it's a good idea to load up on LEAPS.
