CD salary range in LA?
Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

What is it with the bonus and where do you live?
If you have your 7 and 66 you could make 60-65 base plus bonus. If you don’t have those, you are probably fairly compensated.
Following, but because I make less than that as a registered principal 😩 (not at Ameriprise).
I’m in a REALLY rural area with low cost of living and honestly love the work but I’m always open to talk about the future!
Are you registered? Can you negotiate comp from the advisor you work with? Salary range for new hire CA’s at ML is probably anywhere from $55- 70k. A good CA who is registered and works with a team can negotiate $$. I know many making $100k plus. If your FA wants to keep you they will pay $
I would also suggest understanding how FA’s get paid and what they are making based on AUM/ PC’s. This will only help you make $
Are you registered? I’m at Citi still working on my S7 and I make 60K no bonus.
What are your day to day tasks? Are you in the home office or work for a team of reps?
I am remote, working with one advisor. I do everything from managing the calendar, meeting prep, (including prepping meeting focused PowerPoint presentations), all rollovers, ACATs, insurance applications, client profile updates, planning software updates (ie: saving more money, add that into their planning data) and money movement. There is probably more, but that’s what I can think of offhand. I pretty much do everything except the actual financial planning and client meetings. I am confident and work in every system we utilize, including Thompson.
I have been with AMPF for 9 years. I started out at 60 and make close to 100 with bonuses
