What do you expect from strategists at your agency? How are strategists engaged on client accounts?

Joined an ongoing project recently and got assigned some tasks by the client but the tasks are not clear. I’ve tried to get some clarifications but clarifications are causing more confusion at my end and I’m getting frustrated and stressed. If I don’t execute what they’re asking I think they’ll propose I be taken out of the project and I don’t think that will reflect well on me. What should I do?

Any tips for getting back into the job market after a voluntary career break? Considering quitting to take a full-time course for a few months, but I’m also burned out and want to pivot back to design client side. Concerned with how I’ll come off to recruiters without the leverage of being fully employed during a job search. Almost 15 years into my career and I know how difficult it is to land a senior role having been on the other side of that interview.
