Take the industry. ACN isn’t valuing your MBA or you’d be >150k.
Take the industry offer
Industry gig. Have to agree with the others. They’re paying new Analysts 80k~ with no experience and UG only where I’m at.
Coach
Wow Accenture is really lowballing you right now. Take the industry offer pls!
Probably an MBA right out of undergrad. If someone doesn’t do experience in between, we treat them as new hires - as well we should. B-school builds on experience and needs a non-theoretical foundation from which to start. That’s why M7 doesn’t do that 1yr MBA for a 5yr undergrad degree approach.
So is it worth going back to my HR and saying that same thing?
I’ve never heard of anyone being successful with a challenge to their comp, but like everyone is saying here, you’re vastly underpaid. I’m 10 yoe with an exec mba and lvl 7 making $165k… and I’m frustrated that strategy consultant levels right out of mba with 3+ years of work experience are coming in at $175k base plus signing offers.
Do you know why it’s so low? I’m surprised honestly
Was the MBA from a t20? Why did you take an analyst role after MBA? But yes, take the other opportunity. Accenture won’t be able to bring you into a different role because you’re already part of the system where you are now.
