Deloitte question. I have always gotten a raise each year, the only question I ask is how much of a raise do I get. But I’m hearing from former Deloitte folks, it is naive to expect annual raises each year however small/big they are? And how does this play in Deloitte consulting vs advisory? Do one tend to withhold annual raises in base salary over the other, or is this just a deloitte culture thing? Looking at exit opportunities all over. So lmk! I’d Rather get a small raise than none at all.

Who cares
I hate OP so much
I can smell the micromanagement from here
Nothing to advise. What they wear on the plane is their business. Shouldn't bother you
Geez get a life OP
This is the same guy that wanted 30 minute status checks isn’t it?
As long as it’s not at the client site, is there a problem with being comfortable?
Unless traveling with client (or maybe higher level leadership) and they change prior to being on client site, not sure it really matters? Let people live their life ✈️
My analyst wears leather assless chaps on the plane. You don’t see me complaining. So chill Op.
Why would this matter?
Leave it be.... it’s not the client site! I take my wig off before flights! Are you gonna talk about me too?
Depends: Are toenails funky?
Literally Satan. Bring holy water and contact HR IMMEDIATELY. If you have a Fake badge from MBB, make them wear it ASAP.
I think there are other “comfortable” options for both men and women for flights. It’s not really professional and appearances do matter. I’d bring it up once to them esp as they are an analyst and see if they respond. Afterwards let it go.
I don’t care from a professional perspective ( and frankly flip flop feet are going to smell better that sock feet when shoes are taken off). However, I did stop wearing flip flops, sandals and heels after reading an interview with a pilot where he says that is the one piece of advice he gives his family when traveling. You want to be able to run away quickly and have some reasonable protection for your feet should something happen on the ground (which is the only scenario in which you really have a chance to survive). I realize this is paranoid and slightly crazy. Also last I did wear flip flops before my new policy my feet nearly froze so there is that.
Are we being punk’d?
Wow so much hate for OP. I'm with you though, OP, people shouldn't dress like they are going to bed when they're in public, whether it's a plane or otherwise. Flip flops are not the worst though so that wouldn't bother me. It's sweat pants that irritate me.
I think you need to send a tough message. Make the analyst polish your shoes.
Who cares what they are wearing on a flight. What matters is what they wear when client facing.
We've got bigger things to worry about 🤦♀️🤦♀️
