Ancestry’s culture is very relaxed with tons of work-life balance. Collaboration is installed in their culture already
Netskope sounds to be a little more shaky because of their hyper growth phase. It does sound like work life balance could be harder to reach.
Ancestry’s compensation range was $110-$120k and settled at $115k without any negotiation. So room for negotiation I believe but not too much
Netskope didnt specify any range, but when I said $115k base they seemed to be very happy with that number. I believe there’s a lot more room for negotiation here but keep in mind it’s not SF/Bay Area market based salary… its Remote. So I’m curious how much more I could negotiate knowing that I initially mentioned $115k… maybe $130k base?
