Deloitte 3: I’ve seen people rush back to the old job in case the new one had a toxic environment or they lost that job. Often jobs that pay significantly higher have very very toxic environments especially in finance. I’d not recommend burning bridges for OP as I’ve mentioned earlier.
My experience has been is that our bosses generally aren’t as bad as we make them out to be, some can be very good human beings but just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

My wife and I work at the same company and are at the same level, doing the same role, though different departments. She gets paid 15% less than me. I joined after her and didn't know her salary. We've been living with this for a while, and she's gone back asking for a pay bump but been denied, but she did not mention that she was married to a man who had a different pay rate. Should she go back again and mention that? She was hesistant to bring our personal lives into it, but I thought she should call that out specifically. I'm not sure what I should do on my side.

How saturated is the recruitment industry. I am asking in terms of recruiters. I wish to start free lance recruitment instead of salary based because my husband’s job demands a lot of travel, so I can manage house and kids.
I am even ready to start some no-pay opportunities to prove my potential and then take a start from there. Because we have kids I need to start this as a side hustle and then slowly make shift.

I’m in a very secure position at my firm, billing over 2000 the past 3 years. A headhunter reached out in January with an opportunity with a bigger firm. This firm has made an offer for higher salary, about 15% higher than my current base. But I have earned a great deal of flexibility in working remotely even before Covid that I am hesitate to give up. I only plan to stay in law firm for 2-3 more years to save up. Should I take the offer? Or could/should I negotiate with my current firm first?
